The shop facility is equipped with state of the art machinery like the Rottler SGF8 Seat and Guide Machine,Rottler SF00E CBN head surfacer capable of producing MLS gasket surfaces, Rottler F24V Cylinder Boring Machine, Sunnen CV616 Cylinder Hone and The Berco RTM 270 Crankshaft grinder.

Gil and Al are both expert cylinder head machinists and rebuilders. They never know what kind of head will find it's way into the shop. Simplex services a vast variety of customers. The Rottler SGF8 is extremely versatile and fast. We service a vast variety of cylinder heads that include very small to very large heads. Valve stems can run from 4 MM to 1/2 inch. Seat materials can be very soft or very hard. The Rottler SGF8 is extremly versatile and can process all these requirements while giving superior accuracy and perfect chatter free seat finishes. Concentricity is held in the .0002 range and vacuum test readings are off the scale.
